Display Cases Exhibition
Angela Possak is a certified McGown rug hooking teacher, and has been hooking for over thirty years; sharing her skills in the art of rug hooking and teaching classes in the U.S. and Canada. Her work is showcased in galleries and juried exhibits such as Lake Country Art Walk, Peachland Art Gallery, Summerland Art Gallery, Penticton Art Gallery, Maple Ridge Art Gallery, and the Calgary Stampede. Her piece “Prairie Castles” was part of a travelling exhibition through western Canada finishing in the Royal Alberta Museum (Edmonton). Her original design rugs have been purchased by collectors in Canada, Australia, U.S.A., South Africa, Germany and England.
Angela is an expert in all aspects of rug hooking including:
-Designing original patterns for wide cut and primitive
-Wide cut, primitive and fine hooking
-Restoring antique rugs
