Great West Life Mezzanine Exhibition

Artist Statement:

“Since I was a child I have loved to draw, colour and paint. Spending quiet time this way created a therapeutic experience for me. As a mostly self-taught artist I appreciate the creative process and I believe that creativity is instinctual and innate in all of us.

Creating art is a joyous experience for me and takes me out of myself and at the same time helps me open  up to parts of myself that I previously have not been aware of.

Art, like Joy is everywhere in life, we just have to look for it.”

-Betty Morrison
