LIVING THINGS: Objects in Motion

To launch the UBCO Living Things festival which runs from January 27-February 5, we will be screening animated films from the National Film Board and the Underground Puppet Film Festival, in the Mary Irwin Theatre using our brand new projector.  Come and see a wonderful collection of celebrated animated films on the big screen.

 

Film Night 1 on January 11 will include films by Theodore Ushev,
Norman McLaren, Anne Koizumi, Christopher Neil and others.

Film Night 2 on January 18 will include films by Theodore Ushev,
Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, Randall Lloyd Okita, Evelyn Lambart and others.

Film Night 3 on February 1 we will showcase the best of the International Puppet Underground Film Festival in Regina.

PARKING : Metered street parking is available outside the centre (free after 5 PM & Sundays). One block south on Ellis Street, parking has been increased at the Library Parkade to 668 spaces, and Memorial Parkade to 519 spaces (opening fall 2016). Parkades are free after 6 PM except during special events. There is an Impark Lot at Prospera Place (access from Water or Cawston) and Impark Lot at the corner of Ellis and Cawston (access from Cawston).
