We are a unique, multi-disciplinary arts centre that is independently operated and self-supporting, with the assistance of the City of Kelowna.

The Rotary Centre for the Arts is managed by the non-profit society Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society (KVPACS). Funds to operate the Centre are raised through rental fees, service fees, fundraising events, grants, donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales.

Whether you would like to donate as a corporate sponsor to increase business visibility or make a contribution in support of youth or community programs, there are many different ways to support.

For information on these or other individual contributions, please contact our Executive Director at [email protected].

Supporting Youth Arts Education at the Rotary Centre for the Arts

Endowment Fund

In 2005, the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) established an Endowment fund with the Central Okanagan Foundation by contributing an initial amount of $10,000. That same year, this contribution was generously matched by the Vancouver Foundation, BC Arts Renaissance Fund, and The Endowment Incentives Component of the Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program, tripling the RCA’s initial investment.

To date, the RCA’s total investment of $45,000 has grown to over $178,000. This will remain in perpetuity, with all interest earned used towards supporting Youth Arts Education Programming at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.

This program is vital as it helps to ensure that every child within our community has access to Arts Education programming at the RCA.

We would like to thank our contributors in advance for their continued support. For further information please contact our Executive Director at [email protected].

Leave a Legacy

From the studios, galleries and artist workshops, to the beautiful Mary Irwin Theatre, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is a special place for the community to share in the appreciation and creation of the arts.

One of the most meaningful ways you can demonstrate your support and appreciation for the arts is through planned giving. By including the Rotary Centre for the Arts in your donor plans, your contribution helps to ensure the arts carry forward to benefit future generations to follow.

Making a planned gift means more than just leaving a bequest in your will. The Rotary Centre for the Arts offers a myriad of simple planned giving opportunities, all of which can be tailored to meet your specific financial and estate planning needs.

By providing valuable tax benefits, planned giving also allows you to integrate your personal values with your charitable and financial goals.

Initiatives that can benefit from your support include:

  • Youth Arts Education Programs
  • Community Arts Programs
  • Equipment & Capital Projects

We would be pleased to discuss how you wish to support the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration and support.
