Mark your calendar for Culture Days, September 27, 28 and 29, 2019!

Hello Kelowna Arts and Culture community,

2019 is the 10th year of Culture Days with a theme “Creativity, the Arts and Well-being”.  Culture Days is the national awareness campaign of Arts and Culture culminating in a three-day celebration starting on the last Friday of September.

Culture Days invites all communities and individuals who believe in the importance of arts and culture in Canadian life to participate by registering their free participatory activities (Check out Culture Days Website, How to Get Involved resources and the last year’s activities in Kelowna).

In Kelowna, the entire building of the Rotary Centre for the Arts, the Arts Common Park and Art Walk around the centre have been booked for Culture Days activities during the weekend and you can use the space at no cost or host your event at your own venue to engage with the public.

Your activity will be included on the Kelowna Culture Days program guide, to be published no later than June 30, 2019 and distributed throughout the city from July to September.

If you are interested in participating in Culture Days 2019, please contact me at or 250-717-5304 ext. 117 and join us for the Kelowna Culture Days Planning meeting on Friday April 26th, 1-3 pm at the Rotary Centre for the Arts located on 421 Cawston Avenue in Kelowna Downtown.  The meeting is for participating artists, groups and organizations to support and inspire each other and share ideas for activities and promotional strategies.

Thank you and look forward to working with you.
