Angel Award

May 20 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

6th Annual Angel Award is a Talent Competition and Gala Professional Event – Proceeds to ARC (Arthritis Research Canada)
Join us May 20th at 1pm in the theatre for a show unlike any other talent show. This was created by Louise Boisvert, who was inspired by her warrior daughter, Elise who battles an incurable and sometimes debilitating autoimmune disease called Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. This disease is relentless in its attack on the body, including organs, eyes, tissue, ligaments and more.
This competition is offering opportunity and encouragement to gifted young performers on a path toward their passion while supporting those who cannot as easily follow their passions due to illness.
Act I features the best of the best audition submissions over 4 months. These top 10 compete for category and overall Angel Award Performance winner.
We open Act I this year with one of Angel Award’s first top 10, Ben Klick, who has now gone on to his own career with released cd’s and his new single “Middle of Nowhere”. https://www.benklick.com/
Act II features our masters of ceremonies, Brian Martin (Sun FM) and Melina Schein (formally known as Melina Moore, known for her “vocal pyrotechnics” and Broadway calibre productions). Other featured guests include:
• Ari Neufeld – with multiple tour dates in U.S and Canada, Angel Award is delighted to welcome this award winning musician to open up Act II (https://arineufeld.com/home)
• The Silverbacks:
