COOL ARTS SOCIETY invites you to WE ARE CITIZENS, an invitational exhibit featuring works inspired by the theme of CITIZENSHIP.

Cool Arts Society is a local non-profit society that provides a supported studio and art programming for adults with developmental disabilities in the Okanagan.

Cool Arts welcomes disability arts groups from B. C. and Alberta who have submitted works based on the Citizen Keys as described by U.K. researcher Dr. Simon Duffy and Wendy Perez. All works will be on display at the Rotary Centre for the Arts for October’s Community Living Month, with a juried selection being featured in the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Arts member space.

Opening reception will be held, Thursday, October 6th at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.

Cool Arts would like to acknowledge the support of City of Kelowna for this project.
