Artist Statement:

“I moved to Kelowna in 2015 from a small town called Chetwynd, BC.

Since moving to Kelowna, I decided to further my art education at Potters Addict Art Centre majoring in ceramics, where I explored figurative and fantasy sculpture techniques, along with utilitarian works that serve as an art statement as well as functional vessels for eating and drinking. I must admit that dragons and unicorns have established themselves into most of all my ceramic work. Everyday I find new ways to create and explore my love of clay. I enjoy making my sculptures allowing for the negative space to speak for itself. The scales and eyes carved out, and over-exaggerated features such as feet, ears and hands have established a style that is unique to me.

My work is collected by people who enjoy the Fantasy genre.

You can find my work at Karmyc Bazaar, Vibrandt Art Studios, Potters Addict Art Centre and the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna, BC.”
