Great West Life Mezzanine Exhibition

Megan Hunter – artist. Creative visionary.

Megan is an artist, a mother, a poet, playwright, painter, writer, cohort of nature, beauty and aspiration. A singer, songwriter, performance artist, activist, Eco-artist, environmentalist, socialist, she has lived through near death experiences, trauma, rebirth experiences…and idolizes, worships the Divine Mother. These paintings are tributes to her; tributes to the living, breathing, collective consciousness carried as breath within us all.

Her painting work focuses on mark making, exploring colour, texture and personal or mythological narrative. Thematically, exploring a feminine connection to nature or personal power attained through nature. Eco-feminism. Embodiment. Reclaiming semiotics. Embracing a return to matriarchal agriculture.
