EXHIBIT: Rosa Ji

December 2 - December 30

Great West Life Mezzanine Exhibit

Rosa Ji is an artist originally from China. She hopes that through her work, more people will be able to understand Chinese culture and art painting. Rosa chose a series of paintings based on the most representative mythology story in china, “Shan Hai Jing”.

Shan Hai Jing is mainly about ancient Chinese geography and the God beast. The five beasts in her works have different meanings. They represent the symbol of optimism, kindness, courage, humility and honesty. The scenery Rosa chose also represents five different geographical locations in ancients China. She used toner, marker, acrylic, colored lead and other materials when she created these works.
