“I was born in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Penticton, BC and have traveled to many countries throughout the years. Always when returning, I realize how blessed I have been to have lived here all my life. A painters paradise was always at my front door.
I started painting late in life and have enjoyed every moment of it. I have attended many workshops and met well known artists along the way, who have all inspired me. I wrote an Art Column for some years and learned how many talented artists live in this valley and have had the privilege of knowing them.”
Yvonne has attended workshops in White Rock B.C., Painters Lodge, Campbell River, River Rock Studios AB, and numerous classes and workshops instructed by AFCA and SFCA artists here in the Okanagan Valley B.C. as well.
She was accepted as a member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour in 2001, and is in the National Permanent Collection of the Art Gallery of Peel in Brampton, Ontario.
