HAUNTED Halloween Party with Redeye Empire

October 28 @ 8:00 pm

- $30

Kelowna’s Biggest Halloween Party

featuring Redeye Empire and Kinshira Performance Troupe

Just when you think Kelowna’s settling down from another busy summer season, another big event is on the horizon. Every year the Rotary Centre for the Arts hosts Kelowna’s biggest Halloween Party! Located in the heart of the Cultural District, the Rotary Centre for the Arts’ modern architecture juxtaposed with its rich wooden beams conjures inspiration in every turn. It’s no wonder hundreds of creatively dressed party-goers come from all over the Okanagan to attend this one-of-a-kind party.

Haunted is a full building event! The atrium, with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Arts Common, is where you will find the dance floor and where Vancouver-based band, Redeye Empire, will be performing and headlining this year’s big bash. Their high energy live shows pumps reggae, rock, ska, and hip-hop beats so rhythmic you can’t help but want to dance. In the Arts Common, Kinshira Performance Troupe will be performing an intense and daring fire show inspired by a dark ceremony. It will be a night to remember so we invited Okanagan Photostar to bring their photo booth to capture some of the night’s fun photo ops.

Save the date! Saturday, October 28th – the party starts at 8PM!

Born and bred on the West Coast of Canada, Redeye Empire’s music exudes all that is indicative of the West Coast lifestyle. Redeye Empire’s unique blend of reggae, rock, ska has been gathering fans across North America since their first show 10 years ago. Having toured and played with bands such as G Love & Special Sauce, Pepper, Fishbone, Slightly Stoopid, Michael Franti and Xavier Rudd… just to name a few. And playing venues such as Vic Theatre in Chicago, Stubbs BBQ in Austin and virtually every House of Blues venue in North America. Redeye Empire is making their mark on the international music scene!

What started as a ripple has turned into a title wave!

With 4 albums already under their belts (“Redeye”, “The Diary of Everett Miley” , “Sea to Sky” and “Last Chance for Sunshine”) Redeye Empire is currently completing their 5th album “…Strikes Back” to be released Spring 2017.

Redeye Empire’s laid back attitudes, charisma and energetic stage presence continues to captivate audiences across the continent. If you haven’t seen these guys live and in their element you are truly missing out on a performance guaranteed to inspire!

Kinshira’s “Dark Ceremony”

There are whispers around the fire pit at night, telling tales of tribe of skeletal worshipers, black magic sorcery and human sacrifice. A dark and sinister clan, obtaining the souls of the living through seduction, fear and flame.

The fire drums will thunder, the cauldron is lit and no one is safe.

Watch if you dare, but heed this warning. Should you feel the building of fear and shudder in your chest, it may be your time and you may be chosen. Chosen to join in Kinshira’s Dark Ceremony.

~ A voodoo fire ceremony of the bone clan, complete with a Shaman and Witchdoctor hell bent on human sacrifice to grant them immortal power ~
