The Canadian School of Ballet Night of the Arts

April 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm

We are very excited to present this year’s Pre-Professional Program Spring Performance – A Night of the Arts. This year’s performance will be a collaboration with local talented young dancers, musicians and singers. Our dancers will be dancing to live music from The Kelowna Community Music School and Alexandra Babbel’s Candesca Singers.
The lobby will display paintings by local professional artist Nikki Balfour. Please do check out her beautiful work at nikkibalfour.com. We will be showcasing a piece inspired by one of Nikki’s paintings “Motion”. Other works performed by the Pre-Professional Program include Andrew Lloyd Webber’s requiem sung by the the Candesca singers, excerpts from classical ballet’s such as Sleeping Beauty and La Bayadere, a modern piece about the moments just before you fall asleep entitled “Restless Heart”, and more. The Canadian School of Ballet’s Company B will join us with a classic jazz piece “Blackbird.”

We are honored to be able to work with such a high caliber of local artists, and hope you will join us for a very memorable evening.
