Nuno Felting: Creating a piece of Art (adults)

Nuno Felting is an advanced felting technique which bonds fiber and sheer fabric to create an original effect. This is a beginner nuno felting class and you must have felting experience to take it.

We will be exploring the technique using both fiber and prefelts and a variety of fabrics including cheese cloth, silks and sari silks. You will have the possibility to create a small scarf or create fabric to use for a sewing project.

Judith is a contemporary felt artist and a member of Art Felt Collaborative, winner of the Okanagan Arts Award in the category of applied arts.

PARKING : Metered street parking is available outside the centre (free after 5 PM & Sundays). One block south on Ellis Street, parking has been increased at the Library Parkade to 668 spaces, and Memorial Parkade to 519 spaces. Parkades are free after 6 PM except during special events. There is an Impark Lot at Prospera Place (access from Water or Cawston) and Impark Lot at the corner of Ellis and Cawston (access from Cawston).
