We are a unique, multi-disciplinary arts centre that is independently operated and self-supporting, with the assistance of the City of Kelowna.
The Rotary Centre for the Arts is managed by the non-profit society Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society (KVPACS). Funds to operate the Centre are raised through rental fees, service fees, fundraising events, grants, donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales.
Whether you would like to donate as a corporate sponsor to increase business visibility or make a contribution in support of youth or community programs, there are many different ways to support.
For information on these or other individual contributions, please contact our Executive Director at [email protected].
Your donation helps us bring diverse arts programming and opportunities to the community.

In 2005, the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) established an Endowment Fund with the Central Okanagan Foundation by contributing an initial amount of $10,000. That same year, this contribution was generously matched by the Vancouver Foundation, the BC Arts Renaissance Fund, and the Endowment Incentives Component of the Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program, tripling the RCA’s initial investment.
Through additional contributions over the years, the RCA’s total investment of $45,000 has grown to more than $205,000. The principal remains invested in perpetuity, with annual earnings supporting Youth Arts Education Programming at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
The RCA also benefits from annual distributions from the Joan Panton Sunshine Theatre Fund, an endowment established by the late Joan Panton through the Central Okanagan Foundation. Joan was a passionate supporter of the performing arts and believed in ensuring that future generations would continue to have access to high-quality arts experiences. Annual disbursements from this fund help support the RCA’s artistic and community programming.
These endowment funds provide a lasting source of support, helping to ensure that children, youth, and community members throughout the Central Okanagan have access to meaningful arts education and cultural experiences.
We thank our donors and supporters for their commitment to building a sustainable future for the arts in our community.
