2022-2023 Season Volunteer Call-Out

The Rotary Centre for the Arts Volunteer Applications will be open April, 2023. The RCA is looking for new volunteers to assist us in providing excellent service to our patrons during our events. We produce events of all sorts; on any given month you can expect to see dance, music, theatre, comedy, and film productions showcased in our venue. During the summer, we sometimes we hit the streets of the Kelowna Cultural District for outdoor festivals. Our volunteers are essential to event operations. They are our front-line workers who service our guest experience.

Their roles are:
-ushers
-ticket takers
-greeters
-merchandise attendance
-registration

We are looking for our volunteers to be outgoing, friendly, and happy to deal with the public. They are asked to participate for a minimum of 20 hours per year. To get started, we ask you attend orientation and participate in a shadow shift. If you have customer experience at all, you will cruise through the training process. We also require volunteers to complete a Criminal Record Check with the Kelowna RCMP.
