Hercule Poirot and his friend Arthur Hastings are summoned to visit a famous physicist, Sir Claud Amory, but they discover on their arrival that he has been murdered.

The plot revolves around a stolen formula, with Poirot deducing which of Sir Claud’s house guests/family members is the killer.

The Lysander Piano Trio was formed at The Juilliard School in New York in 2009 and takes its name from Shakespeare’s: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Winners of the Concert Artists Guild Competition, the Bronze Medal at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, the Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition and the C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition, this Trio has performed extensively in major centers across North America. Highlights include performances at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre and the Kennedy Centre, as well as and numerous chamber music series.
The trio is pro-active in commissioning new works and creating programs that mix the music of the day with well-loved master works. The members of the trio are all accomplished soloists, maintaining busy performing schedules in Europe and North America.
