We offer a wide range of arts programs for all ages, including dance and art workshops for adults, kids camps, free community concerts, and more.
The Mary Irwin Theatre is located inside the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Learn more about our historical theatre.
The RCA parking lot is reserved for staff and clients. Parking is available near the RCA, but it can be limited during peak times. Please allow ample time to park.
There are several great spots for lunch and coffee around the Cultural District. Sprout Coffee, Bamboo Chopsticks and more.
Our tenant, Roma Nord Bistro, offers delicious options for dinner, but please note we do not take reservations for Roma Nord. Visit their website or call them directly for reservations.
Yes, we have public restrooms.
Yes, we have an ATM machine. It is located at the box office.
Yes, we do have a water-based haze machine, commonly known as a fog machine. When stage lighting penetrates through the fog, it transforms into an ethereal mist, adding drama and intrigue. Water-based fog is generally safe and non-toxic. The Amhaze Eco is a professional haze machine that delivers high output while utilizing economic fluid consumption.

Tickets and memberships can be purchased online through our website, by calling the box office, or by visiting the box office in person.
My Account is your online account on the RCA website where you can manage your details, purchase or renew memberships, and purchase/access your tickets.
As an RCA Theatre Member, you can change dates for the same production, subject to availability and exchange fees. Please call the box office at least 24 hours in advance.
Lost tickets can be replaced at the box office with proof of purchase.
Members enjoy benefits like free subscription ticket exchanges, discounts on additional tickets, and access to special events and promotions.
Yes, members receive a 20% discount on additional tickets for up to 2 tickets for any RCA Presents show.
Outside catering is allowed, but outside alcohol service is not permitted. Our in-house bistro, Roma Nord, handles alcohol service and can be contacted at [email protected].
Parking passes for rental clients can be issued as part of the rental contract.
We collect $6.75 per ticket ($2.00 CIF + $2.50 admin fee + $2.25 ticket fees). The Capital Improvement Fund Surcharge (CIF) and service fees are added to cover box office costs, card processing, theatre improvements, and taxes.
All un-ticketed events will incur a $2.00 CIF charge per person, which will be invoiced post-event.
We have a Youth Arts Council that engages young people in the arts through various programs and events. For more information or to get involved, please visit the RCA Youth Council.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the support of our patrons. Monthly donations, memberships, and sponsorships help us deliver arts education programs and community events. You can become a member of KVPACS for an annual donation of $20. Donate today.

The Rotary Centre for the Arts is committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all patrons. To ensure that our space remains safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask all patrons to adhere to the following Code of Conduct.
EXPECTATIONS FOR PATRONS
1. Respectful Behaviour:
Patrons are expected to treat fellow visitors, staff, and artists with kindness and respect. This includes maintaining a positive tone and engaging in civil discussions.
2. Dress Code:
We encourage patrons to dress in a manner that is appropriate and respectful, considering the atmosphere of our arts venue and the many families and children that frequent our facility.
3. Integrity and Honesty:
Patrons should act in an honest manner and refrain from any actions that could damage the reputation of the Rotary Centre for the Arts or its affiliated artists.
4. Obstruction-Free Environment:
Please respect the space by not obstructing pathways, exits, or causing disturbances that may affect other visitors’ enjoyment of the facility.
5. Confidentiality:
If you obtain any confidential information regarding our events, staff, or patrons, please keep it private.
6. Use of Facilities:
Patrons are expected to use the facilities responsibly and report any issues or damages to staff promptly. Resources within the centre should be used as intended.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
The Rotary Centre for the Arts does not tolerate any of the following behaviours:
1. Discrimination and Harassment:
Any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying will not be accepted.
2. Violent Behaviour:
Aggressive or violent behaviour, including verbal threats, is strictly prohibited.
3. Illegal Activities:
Engaging in illegal activities, including the use of illegal substances or vandalism, will result in immediate removal from the premises.
4. Profanity or Unruly Behaviour
Use of profanity or lewd behaviour is deemed inappropriate and will not be tolerated.
5. Substance Abuse:
Patrons under the influence of alcohol or drugs that impair judgement may be asked to leave the premises.
6. Disruptive Behaviour:
Any action that disrupts the enjoyment of others or engages in disruptive behaviour will result in corrective measures, which may include eviction from the facility.
ENFORCEMENT OF THE CODE
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in corrective action, which may include:
- A verbal reminder of expected behaviour
- Removal from participating in an event. Class or workshop
- Temporary removal from the facility
- Permanent banning from the Rotary Centre for the Arts, depending on the severity of the violation.
