Are you passionate about serving your community? Do you thrive in creative and artistic environments? Then consider volunteering at the Rotary Centre for the Arts!
Our volunteer family comes from all walks of life. We have retirees looking for something to do, young professionals seeking real-world experience, community members who want to make a difference in Kelowna, art lovers that are eager to share their passion, and so on. Whatever your story, there is a place for you here at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Whether it’s providing excellent customer service to our patrons or helping deliver quality programming at our children’s art camps, volunteers at the RCA can take pride in knowing they are an essential part of our Centre.
Volunteer applications will be reviewed bi-annually. The next Orientation will be held on August 17th.

Performance Guest Services
Put on your customer service hat! Join us on performance nights and give our patrons the best experience ever. You might distribute programs, be an usher, answer questions, work the coat check, or greet the patrons arriving. If you know how to make people feel right at home – and you love the fun of “show night” - this is for you!” We ask our volunteers to complete a total of 20 hours per calendar year. How you complete those hours is up to you and your availability. All volunteers receive full orientation training from our Front of House Manager.
Hours: Evenings and weekends with limited mornings and afternoons.

Community Engagement Ambassador
Are you a people person? Be the face of the Rotary Centre for the Arts while you engage with our community to spread the word on our arts programs and shows. Lend a hand by assisting the RCA distribute posters in the community. Represent the RCA at various outdoor festivals & events. Work at a booth or table handing out promotional information about upcoming performances.
Hours: Weekends, with limited weekdays & evenings.
Arts Blast Camps
The RCA is currently looking for volunteers ages 16 and up to assist with Summer Arts Blast Camps (2023)! As a volunteer, you will get to collaborate in a fun environment to help our Arts Blast team deliver quality programming in visual art, dance, music, and theatre to youth ages 5 – 10.

Youth Arts Council
Designed for students ages 13 - 18 who are looking for both a creative outlet and an opportunity to help their community, the council will help shape youth presence in the Kelowna arts scene in 2022 and into the future. Ideally, potential members of the youth council would have volunteer experience with underrepresented voices in the community and in diverse organizations.
Hours: The council will meet at the RCA monthly. Find out more and apply here.
