Art for Social Change And Still We Dream

First Floor Studio Hallway

This youth art exhibition is part of the ongoing programming at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, one of the welcoming spaces in the Kelowna galleries community. Set in the First Floor Studio Hallway, it offers a chance to experience how young people across the Okanagan are using art to share what matters to them.

Artist Statement

Dedicated to educating and supporting young artists in the Okanagan, the Arts for Social Change art exhibition partners with youth to voice what is important to them and to create positive change in our community. Throughout the first year, they have supported students from schools and nonprofits to create art inspired by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. By offering young artists, aged 5-25, the opportunity to exhibit their art publicly, Arts for Social Change encourages them that their voice matters.

And Still We Dream, curated by Kaelin Davis, has been created to invite community members from the Okanagan and beyond to actively engage with young people and to seek their input on challenging issues impacting our world today.

They have something to say. Will you listen?
