Objects in Motion is a one-of-a-kind selection of international experimental animated shorts. These films are curated by local artist, professor, and animator Myron Campbell, and they push the boundaries of storytelling and animation. Don’t miss the chance to experience these unique films firsthand!

A spicy puppet cabaret, hosted by a sassy grandma who keeps trying to steal the show. Ingrid Hansen, a puppeteer for Jim Henson Company’s Fraggle Rock, performs this beautifully twisted variety show. Watch behind-the-scenes as Hansen performs a live puppet film, animating cheeky vignettes in the palm of her hand and projecting them onto a huge screen.

Kindred Widows is a wordless visual theatre performance exploring memory transmission among women across generations. Using clothing as a metaphor, it features hand puppets and a garment puppet. Live fiddle and foot percussion create a dynamic soundtrack, blending sound effects and traditional tunes to enhance the performance.

Miss Darling is a 15-time Award-winning entertainer featured in the Guinness Book of World Records and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. She is the winner of the 2019 prestigious Allan Slaight Award and two-time winner and current reigning Stage Magician of the Year at the Magic Castle for a second time.
